Our Story

For more than 25 years, our family-owned business, Bodyworx, has been formulating and manufacturing across the physiotherapy, personal care and natural pet care industries. During this time, we've had the privilege of helping other well known brands bring their ideas to market. We've always taken pride in delivering quality formulations and building lasting relationships with the people and businesses we work with.

For such a long time, we had dreamed of creating a brand that was purely ours. When the opportunity presented for us to develop our own hand sanitiser range, we decided it was time to bring that long-held idea to life.

Drawing on decades of formulation expertise and manufacturing experience, we set out to create a range that reflected the values that have guided our business from the very beginning - quality, integrity and genuine care for the people who use our products. That's how Honey Tree began.

From the outset, we knew we didn't want to create just another hand sanitiser. If we were putting our name on it, it needed to reflect the same thought and attention that goes into everything we make. It needed to be effective, while also being gentle enough for everyday use and thoughtfully formulated with ingredients chosen to care for the skin. That thinking naturally led us to kānuka honey. 

Harvested from one of New Zealand's native plants, it has long been valued for its antibacterial properties and was a natural fit for the Honey Tree range. Paired with aloe vera and glycerine, it became part of a carefully considered blend where each ingredient complements the others. Together, they create a balance between effective cleansing and gentle skin care, reflecting the values that have shaped Honey Tree from the very beginning.

Honey Tree is brand we've dreamed of creating for many years, and we're excited to continue growing our range thoughtfully over time.

Whatever comes next, our focus will remain the same: creating high-quality formulations that combine trusted expertise with carefully selected ingredients and a genuine commitment to quality. We are very excited about where the journey will take us next!
